Linebacker commit Drew White and St. Thomas Aqui- nas took home the Florida Class 7A title after defeating Tampa (Fla.) Plant 45-6, while linebacker commit Matthew Bauer and Erie (Pa.) Cathedral Prep took down Philadelphia Imhotep Charter 27-20 for the Pennsylvania Class 4A championship. Defensive line commit Kurt Hinish and linebacker commit David Adams, both of Pittsburgh Central Catholic, came up short in their final high school game, losing 42-7 to Philadelphia St. Joseph's Prep in the Pennsylvania Class 6A state title game. • Notre Dame has offered Portland (Ore.) Westview three-star 2017 de- fensive tackle Brandon Pili. He also holds offers from USC, UCLA, Ole Miss, Colorado and Oregon State among others. • Three of Notre Dame's early enrollees have filled out their financial paperwork, the school announced Dec. 6. Four-star Cypress (Texas) Cy-Fair tight end Brock Wright, four-star Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy offensive lineman Robert Hainsey and four-star Naperville (Ill.) Neuqua Valley defen- sive back Isaiah Robertson all made their pledges to Notre Dame official. Four-star Hamden (Conn.) Cheshire Academy running back C.J. Holmes is an early enrollee as well, and announced on Twitter that he will sign his paperwork Dec. 14. • Notre Dame missed out on one of its top remaining targets left on the defensive board when Olney (Md.) Good Counsel four-star defensive end Joshua Paschal committed to Kentucky, where his older brother TraVaughn is a graduate assistant.
