Executive Director Letter from the ■ WOLFPACK CLUB NEWS Dear Wolfpack Club Family, This is always an exciting time of year for me. 30,000+ students are back on campus and enjoying being with old friends and new. Freshmen are excited and nervous as they try to find their way around campus and where they fit into the university community. It is a fresh start for everyone! The same goes for all of our Wolfpack teams. Optimism abounds as they head into new seasons. Returning players are excited about being back, and new players are trying to find their roles within the teams. Wolfpack Club Executive Director Senior Associate Athletics Director BOBBY PURCELL The same is true for all of our wonderful fans, too. We finished strong last year, with a 37th the best is yet to come! I can feel the anticipation among our fan base as we embark on another exciting year of Wolfpack Athletics. We need you to help the 'Pack have a great year! Your role is critical in the success our teams have. Your scholarship and facility support give our coaches the resources they need. Your attendance at games gives our student-athletes more motivation to win. You are an important part of any Wolfpack team. Let's be the classiest fan base in the ACC! Welcome our opponents and their fans to our venues. Treat them with the respect that we want when we visit their schools. Cheer loud, be respectful, and don't "boo" any student-athlete on any team. Additionally, Wolfpack games should be family outings. Be respectful of the other State fans around you, particularly those with children. All too of- ten, we get complaints from our own fans about other State fans ruining their experience because of foul language or other offensive behavior. Be loud and boisterous, but do it with class! On behalf of all our coaches, student-athletes and staff, thank you for all your support of Wolfpack Athletics. Let's have a GREAT year in 2012-2013. Go 'Pack! Best regards, place finish in the Learfield Sports Directors' Cup. However, Bobby Purcell Wolfpack Club Executive Director Senior Associate Athletics Director 4 ■ THE WOLFPACKER
