It's no secret that State has runners that can contend in any race they enter this fall, but Geiger is equally confident in his squad's depth. "I don't believe in a pecking order — it's not about this guy is our No. 1, this guy's on No. 2 and so on," Geiger stated. "It's about NC State's score, and I think the guys feel that way, too. There are those that might see a big drop in the program because of the graduation of the four guys we lost, but I don't plan for that to happen. "What I look for is leadership from the upperclassmen and development from the younger athletes, I've got to have those two things. I think this is going to be a good group.
