Carolina in Chapel Hill. When Miller's blast landed in the back of the net, UVa snapped a 0-35-2 all-time record against the Tar Heels — an infamous streak that dated back to the program's inception in 1985. "Morgan [Brian] played a great ball through and, hon- estly, I thought I missed the shot," Miller recalled. "It ac- tually looked like it was going to hit the post or go wide, but by the grace of God it went in the corner [of the net]. "I think that was just the best feeling I've ever had. And as a team, to have finally beaten them after twenty- something years. It was just incredible. You can't really compare it to anything." Since arriving on Grounds from Rockville, Md., as one of the most heralded recruits in the country, Miller has more than lived up to her reputation as one of the top snipers in the country. Last year, the 5-5 forward had a team-leading 15 goals. Through eight games this season, Miller had 28 goals and 13 assists for her career. Virginia assistant coach Ron Raab calls Miller a "natural" scorer. He says she possesses an innate skill to put the ball in the back of the net that you just can't teach. Miller, who led the team with 15 goals in 2011, found the back of the net three times in UVa's first eight games this year.
