If only Notre Dame could have a coach like Parseghian. Tyrone Willingham, Notre Dame improves to 8-0 and moves up to No. 4 in the country with a 34-24 victory at No. 11 Florida State. The Seminoles were 84-5 (.944 winning percentage) in 10 Years Ago: Oct. 26, 2002 Under first-year head coach Notre Dame's defense swarmed Florida State in 2002 before giving up two late touchdowns in the 34-24 victory.
