Buckeyes' rally saddles Nittany Lions with first loss of season
The Horseshoe has never brought Penn State
much luck over the years, and many of the 11 losses
the Nittany Lions have suffered in Columbus since
the start of the Big Ten era have been of the list-
less, lopsided, over-before-the-fourth-quarter
variety.
This most recent loss was altogether different, as
the Lions led most of the way. And while the one-
point differential may indicate that the border ri-
valry is entering a much more interesting phase
a>er a period of scarlet-and-gray dominance, for
Penn State, it sure did hurt on Saturday.
The visiting Nittany Lions weren't able to hold a
15-point fourth-quarter lead, as the Buckeyes ral-
