Proud Supporter of NC State Athletics For Over 40 Years Linebacker Devaris Brunson of Lake City (S.C.) High verbally committed to East Carolina in Email: tssessions@embarqmail.com June, but remains interested in NC State. PHOTO COURTESY RIVALS.COM "I'm still open to other schools. NC State is still at a good level with me." Rivals.com lists Brunson (6-0, 205 pounds) as a three-star recruit and the No. 18 player from the state of South Caro- lina. He had 172 tackles, including 18 for loss and 10 sacks, as a junior. Defensive Back The same two times Devaris Brunson took unofficial visits to NC State, defensive back Korrin Wiggins of Durham (N.C.) Hillside was also there. Like Brunson, Wiggins is committed to another school. He pledged for UNC in February. However, he is still keeping his options open. "You're never going to be 100 percent sure," Wiggins told Rivals.com. "While it's going, I'm trying to enjoy it. "Clemson, South Carolina, Tennessee, Duke, NC State and Wake Forest are stay- ing in contact. The pitch is pretty much still the same. They're calling me every week or two, just staying up with me and keeping something in my head. "I'm still listening to those schools. But as far as right now, I'm still committed to Carolina." Rivals.com lists Wiggins as a three- star recruit, the No. 38 cornerback in the country and the No. 14 recruit in the state of North Carolina's 2013 class. The 6-1, 185-pounder, however, may project as a safety in college. ■ For regular reports on NC State football recruiting plus videos of Wolfpack commitments and targets visit TheWolfpacker.com.
