PARTING GIFT
PSU sends off its seniors, and possibly Saquon Barkley, with a big win
A pair of juniors led the way for Penn State on
Senior Day. Trace McSorley threw for 325 yards and
three touchdowns, and Saquon Barkley rushed for
158 yards and three scores in the Nittany Lions' 56-
44 victory over Nebraska.
On a cold, wet day at Beaver Stadium, the Nittany
Lions were in control of the game from the second
quarter onward. And while their inability to stop
Nebraska in the final two quarters – the Corn-
huskers rallied for 34 second-half points aAer
falling behind 42-10 at halAime – may have dark-
ened the mood in a few postgame tailgates, it didn't
put much of a damper on James Franklin's victory
celebration.
