While Notre Dame will continue to recruit the verbal commits as if they're uncommitted, the coaches have an opportunity to focus on their top remaining targets. Irish Stock: Notre Dame has been in contact with NO. 44 MAX REDFIELD DB, 6-3, 195, Mission Viejo, Calif. (Mission Viejo) just two weeks prior to his trip to campus for the Stanford game Oct. 13, but the experience put the Irish squarely back in the race. Irish Stock: Notre Dame is in good shape if he opts to decommit from the Trojans. Status: Committed to USC The Skinny: Redfield didn't seem like an option NO. 47 LAQUON TREADWELL WR, 6-3, 195, Crete, Ill. (Crete-Monee) in terms of which program looks to be trending, and that is actually a good thing for Notre Dame consid- ering it went from being off the radar to back in the race after he attended the game against Miami at Soldier Field in Chicago … His top five are Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Michigan and Michigan State, but the Irish are still working to get involved, including a call from head coach Brian Kelly the week of the Oklahoma game. Irish Stock: Notre Dame isn't heavily in the Status: Offered The Skinny: Treadwell's arrow is always changing market for another wide receiver in the class, but Treadwell is the type of player you take regardless of the numbers game … There is, however, plenty of work to do to get to that point.
