ITATennis.com ranks two WFU singles players among the top 16 nationally and two doubles teams in the top 21. • ACC Championships at Cary, N.C., April 26-29 — The loaded ACC Tournament returns to Cary, and features the top three teams in the final national poll from last year — Virginia, North Carolina and Wake Forest — and six of the current top-25 singles players in the country per ITATennis.com. Three Players To Watch Sophomore Alexis Galarneau Galarneau topped six different opponents ranked in the national top 110 en route to earning second- team All-ACC honors as a freshman last year. The 5-11 Galarneau went 25-10 overall in singles action, including 7-5 at No. 1 singles, and he was 15-13 on his various doubles teams. ITATennis.com ranks the Laval, Canada, product No. 16 in singles going into the spring, and No. 32 in doubles, where he'll be playing with redshirt junior Michael Ogden. Junior Georgiy Malyshev The Kirov, Russia, product made his debut last year for the Wolfpack, and went 22-17 overall in singles and 13-17 in doubles, where he played with four different partners. Malyshev mostly played at No. 4 singles, going 7-5, but he did get a win at No. 2 singles and was 3-4 at No. 3. He followed up by going 7-4 in singles this past fall. Junior Igor Saveljic The 6-3 Saveljic went 22-14 overall last year, in - cluding 11-4 in No. 3 singles last year. He joined his twin brother, Ivan, to go 7-11 in doubles action last year, but 8-1 this past fall. Igor Saveljic, who is from Podgorica, Montenegro, has gone 42-36 in singles and 31-37 in doubles during his career.
