FAN FORUM hour game! I am exhausted, so I don't know how the players lasted through three overtimes. When Everett Golson threw the pick in the end zone with 3:58 to go in the game and we are down 20-12, my Notre Dame and doctor friend got up and left my house to head back to his office. I was disconsolate. Then the miracles started. When I thought for sure that we would win, Cierre Wood fumbled going FROM THE WEBSITE Notre Dame's unbeaten season could have easily ended Nov. 3 when two players wearing the same jersey number — junior cornerback Bennett Jackson and freshman receiver Chris Brown — were on the field the same time. Both donned No. 2 on Pitt's game- winning field goal attempt from 33 yards out in the second overtime. Pitt missed the kick, but the officiating crew did not see the infraction. I feel like I just dodged a speedy bus and landed in the clover. Via the Internet Steve Farley Crowell and cornerback Brandon Smith. Smith was a speed demon that was displayed in the kick and punt return and occasional trick play on offense. Neither player would change numbers when it was requested by the coaching staff — therefore Richt couldn't use the two players at the same time during the whole 2011 season. Brenner _f: If it gets people on campus and committed if they know they are going to get the number, so be it. Bumfuzzled: If getting a certain number gets a kid to commit, then I don't want him.
