Jewell Loyd — Fr., Women's Basketball The McDonald's All-America team veteran wasted no ers who made the all-tournament team at the Tribe Invitational Nov. 11 to close the fall season. Monaghan defeated William & Mary's John Banks in the third singles slot. He finished his first fall with a 6-4 record. Monaghan's only loss in his past four matches was to Ohio State's Connor Smith, who is ranked 60th among collegiate tennis players in the country. Quentin Monaghan — Fr., Men's Tennis Monaghan is the youngest of three Notre Dame play- claimed the women's Big East Swimmer of the Week award Nov. 13. She is the second consecutive Irish swimmer to win the honor. Senior Kim Holden won it a week earlier. Reaney had a hand in six different first-place races against conference foes Pittsburgh and Louisville. Her best times in the 200 individual medley, 100 breaststroke and 200 breaststroke are all in the top 10 in the nation.
