The iconic photograph of Michigan great Cazzie Russell during the construction of Crisler Arena fits perfectly into a dis- play on "The House That Cazzie Built" in the dramatically redone Crisler Center. Visitors are met with such nods to the past and recognition of the present in an expanded concourse area.
No longer do Michigan fans make the climb over icy, concrete steps in the winter outside of Crisler. They're welcomed in through glass doors and taken to the con- course level by these escalators (left), past a block M on the left behind which water continuously flows down the wall.
