Where do the Nittany Lions stand and could the staff earn another commitment or two? We break it all down here: Jahleel Billingsley TE | Chicago | Phillips SCHOOLS Penn State, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Mississippi, Ohio State, TCU THE LATEST Billingsley has said mixed things in recent months when it comes to his top schools. Following his first visit to Penn State, which took place in early February, he told reporters that the Lions were at or near the top of his list. He has since given re- porters at Illinois and Florida the same feeling. In fact, reporters in Florida were given the impression that he was close to making a commitment, but he held off when Alabama offered a few weeks ago. We still believe the Lions have a real chance here, which makes the visit all the more important, as it could end up being his final trip to Uni- versity Park before he decides. Billingsley visited both Florida and Ohio State in May. Lewis Cine Saf. | Everett, Mass. | Trinity Catholic (Texas) SCHOOLSPenn State, Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, Boston College, Central Florida, Clemson, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Louisville, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Ne- braska, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Pittsburgh, Rut- gers, Southern Mississippi, Syracuse, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, USC, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin THE LATEST Cine will be returning to Penn State for the first time since moving to Trinity Catholic in Texas to train with Deion Sanders, who is an assistant coach at the school. Since his move, Auburn, Alabama, Oklahoma and Texas A&M are just a handful of the top Southern pro- grams that have offered. He also visited Oklahoma and Texas A&M in the spring, but we still believe that Penn State is a se- rious player here. With the staff down to just one remaining spot in the secondary, Franklin and his assistants will be making it clear to Cine that he has to make a move sooner rather than later if he wants to be a Nittany Lion. He will take an official visit to Texas the following weekend, June 16-17, so if he decides to go through with that trip, we don't expect the staff to accept a commitment this weekend. However, he has made it clear that he wants to have this wrapped up by the end of the summer. Fans should still feel good about Penn State's chances.
