The NHL CARL HAGELIN TRADED BY PITTSBURGH On Nov. 14, the Pittsburgh Pen- guins traded 30-year-old left winger Carl Hagelin to the Los Angeles Kings for 26-year-old left winger Tan- ner Pearson, ending the former's ten- ure in the Steel City (since 2015-16). Hagelin helped lead the Penguins to consecutive Stanley Cup titles in both 2016 and 2017, scoring 16 points in the 2016 postseason and tallying the final goal of the 2017 playoffs. "With Carl Hagelin, his No. 1 asset is speed and getting to holes," Kings GM Rob Blake said. "We think he will play a big role on the penalty kill for us going forward."
