In front of an assembly of reporters, university officials, Wolfpack Club supporters,
and NC State coaches and student-athletes, soon-to-be new director of athletics Boo
Corrigan held his introductory press conference at historic Reynolds Coliseum Jan. 30.
Corrigan will begin his job May 1, replacing Debbie Yow, who is retiring. The son of
the former ACC commissioner and Virginia AD Gene Corrigan previously was an asso-
ciate AD at Duke, until he was hired as Army West Point's director of athletics in 2011.
In 2015,
Reynolds underwent a massive renovation, one of the hallmarks of Yow's
tenure at NC State.
