notable numbers 2 Third-year tennis star Alex Domijan, the nation's top-ranked singles player as of March 4, became the first athlete ever to be named the Most Outstanding Player of the prestigious ITA National Team Indoor Championships twice, after he earned his second honor Feb. 22 following Virginia's victory over No. 2 USC. 5 Fourth-year Will Bates was picked fifth overall by the Seattle Sounders in the 2013 Major League Soccer Supplemental Draft after earning his second straight All-ACC first-team laurel this past fall. 8 13 Virginia will have eight home games during the 2013 football season for the first time in program history. The Cavaliers' wrestling team finished the regular season ranked 13th in the USA Today/ NWCA/AWN coaches' poll. Records indicate that the school had a team from 1904-07, but no further information exists until the team started back up in 1925. ◆ April 19, 1998 — The women's lacrosse team captured its first ACC title with a 9-7 victory over No. 1 North Carolina in Charlottesville. ◆ April 26, 2012 — Baseball coach Brian O'Connor won his 400th game as a head coach with a 7-5 win over VCU.
