NICO COLLINS Junior, WR Collins proved to be Michigan's second most productive receiver on the season. His lanky presence also opened up plenty of opportunities for others when he drew coverage by multiple defensive backs. The third-year Wolverine still caught 37 passes for 729 yards. He led Michigan's wide receivers in average yards per catch (19.7) and touchdown grabs (seven). Michi- gan's Offensive Player of the Year also declared he'll be back for 2020, music to the ears of Patterson's even- tual successor. 10. LAVERT HILL Senior, CB Hill swept first-team All-Big Ten honors among conference coaches and media, putting an exclamation point on his senior season for the Wolverines. Hill tied for the team lead in in- terceptions, with three, and led the Wolverines with 10 passes broken up. He made 16 tackles on the year, including one for loss. 11. CESAR RUIZ Junior, C Ruiz served as the tip of the spear in all 13 games for the Michigan of- fense, garnering second-team All-Big Ten notice from coaches and third- team honors from media. He has an- nounced he'll take his talents to the NFL next season, creating a hole at center for the Wolverines. 12. MICHAEL ONWENU Senior, OG The fourth departing Michigan of- fensive lineman in this year's top 12 players, Onwenu performed in all 13 U-M games this season. Big Ten coaches deemed him a third-team all-conference performer. 13. KHALEKE HUDSON Senior, Viper Hudson served as a captain in his final season bearing a winged helmet.
