Hill had been with the Los Angeles Dodgers since 2016, and posted a 2.45 ERA and a 4-1 record in an injury-plagued, 582/3-inning campaign last year. Ryan LaMarre • MLB The Tampa Bay Rays signed the 31-year-old outfielder to a minor- league deal Jan. 13 that included an invitation to spring training. LaMarre spent the 2019 season in the Minnesota Twins' organiza- tion, playing in 14 games with the big league club and hitting .217 with two home runs, three RBI and a .308 on-base percentage. Jake Rudock • NFL The Miami Dolphins signed the fourth-year quarterback to a reserve/ futures contract Jan. 6, securing his spot on the team's roster when it increases from 53 to 90 players March 18.
