like 20 to 25 if not more night in, night out," Lewis said. "He can do it because he is one of the best scorers in the country." Warren said that one of his priorities during the offseason will be improving his free throw shooting after he shot just 54.2 percent from the line last year. The stat is puzzling considering he made 14 of 27 three-pointers (51.9 percent). Warren will also work on being a leader and improving his defense. His return to NCSU was a boost to next year's squad, but Warren said that despite persistent rumors to the contrary he "wasn't very close" to entering the NBA Draft. "It was just a consideration," Warren noted. "I'm back now and looking forward to next year." In The Paint Vogedes InsuranceAgency, Inc. 403 S. There are four pieces to the equation. Rising fifth-year senior Jordan Vandenberg will be back after playing in 23 games last year. The 7-1, 264-pounder has impressed Gottfried with his work ethic during the early portions of the offseason conditioning program. Vandenberg has never scored in double digits in his career, but he has proven at times he can be an effective rebounder and shot blocker. A trio off 6-9 freshmen will join the team in the fall. BeeJay Anya, a 275-pound center from Gaithersburg, Md., and famed DeMatha Catholic in Hyattsville, Md., is listed as the No. 58 prospect and No.  5 center in the 2013 class by Rivals.com. He chose NC State over Indiana. Kyle Washington is a 215-pounder from Champlin, Minn., via Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N.H. Rivals.com ranks Washington as the No. 93 player and No. 14 center in the 2013 class. Washington had lined up an official visit to Ohio State and was making plans to see Iowa State and Washington before he pledged to the Wolfpack. Both Anya and Washington bring long wingspans. Washington's measures at 6-11.5, while Anya's is an incredible 7-9. Anya is considered to be more of a true low post player who can rebound and block shots while Washington is reputed to have more versatility. NC State also added three-star power forward Lennard Freeman, a 245-pounder from Washington, D.C., who played at powerhouse Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Va., this past season. Freeman chose NCSU April 29 over Pittsburgh, Villanova, Seton Hall, UAB and DePaul, and he should help add depth up front. ■ 42  ■  the wolfpacker 38-40,42.Men's BKB Wrapup.indd 42 4/30/13 2:37 PM
