"In a lot of regards, the comparisons to Kendall Marshall are pretty spot on," Hatfield said. "He has that brain for the game. Growing up, people wondered if he'd be a one or a two because he has the size to play either spot. He's a floor general on the floor and makes the right decisions." Hall's ability to play different roles for both Cape Henry and Boo Williams should also help him in college. "With Boo, he wasn't asked to score much, and just had to set guys up," Hatfield said. "He looks for his shot more at Cape Henry, knowing he was a guy being counted on to score more there. "At UVa, he might have a role more similar to what he had at Boo because he'll have guys that can score like the Joe Harris' or Justin Anderson's of the world." Hall is also a born leader, unselfish and has been looking forward to playing for the Cavaliers for a long time. His older brother, Mark Hall, plays outside linebacker for the Cavaliers and is a rising redshirt second-year. "He's one of the classiest kids on and off the court, and it shows in his game," Hatfield said. "He's such a savvy individual with the ball in his hands, and a true facilitator. He really makes plays and create shots for others." ◆ Class Of 2013 UVa Basketball Signees Name (National Rank*)Pos. Devon Hall (122)PG London Perrantes PG * Rivals.com Ht. 6-5 6-0 Wt. (Crespi) Notes From The Recruiting Trail • Virginia is already off to a great start in the class of 2014 in men's basketball recruiting, thanks to the long-standing verbal commitment of star guard B.J. Stith. The 6-5, 180-pound Stith is the son of Virginia legend Bryant Stith, who recently accepted an assistant coaching job at Old Dominion. B.J. Stith picked the Cavaliers Sept. 3, 2011, and also recently made the decision to attend Mouth of Wilson (Va.) Oak Hill Academy next year. Stith won three state titles under his father at Lawrenceville (Va.) Brunswick High. Rivals.com ranks Stith as the No. 36 overall prospect in the class of 2014. With Stith in the fold, the Cavaliers have been active during the April evaluation period in pursuing big men. UVa loses star wing Joe Harris and power forward Akil Mitchell following next season. Here is a look at five potential Virginia targets for the class of 2014: Payton Dastrup, Mesa (Ariz.) Mountain View: The 6-9, 225-pounder injured his foot in late April, but should be ready to go in late May or early June. Dastrup is ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 52 in the class of 2014, but he plans on taking a two-year Mormon mission following high school graduation, which would push him into the class of 2016. Virginia has offered, along with everyone in the Pac‑12 except UCLA and Washington. BYU, Florida, NC State, Texas A&M and Utah State round out his list of offers. Angel Delgado, Troy (N.Y.) Redemption Christian Academy: The 6-9, 215-pound power forward was one of the breakout stars this spring. Delgado led the Nike Elite Youth Basketball league with 12.8 rebounds per game through nine contests with the New York Lightning. Delgado also averaged 13.2 points per game and shot a blistering 63.3 percent form the field. Virginia and Florida State both offered following the April evaluation period, joining Dayton,
