The Milwaukee native was also suspended for the first four games of his
sophomore season for violating team
rules, and for the Ohio State game in
his rookie campaign, but he said in a
statement released by U-M that he has
learned his lesson.
Hagerup, the 2012 Big Ten Punter of the Year after averaging a Michigan single-seasonrecord 45.03 yards per punt, will redshirt in 2013 and be eligible for a fifth-year senior season in 2014.
