72 THE WOLVERINE DECEMBER 2020   MICHIGAN IN THE PROS the year … Prior to the setback, had started all five contests at left tackle for the 6-3 Titans. • Jourdan Lewis (2010-13), CB, Dal- las Cowboys: Started seven of the eight games he appeared in for 2-7 Dallas (missed the season opener with an ankle injury), and compiled 27 tackles, three tackles for loss and one pass defended. • David Long (2016-18), CB, Los An- geles Rams: Earned the starting nod in one of the nine contests he competed in for 6-3 Los Angeles and logged five tackles. • Erik Magnuson (2012-16), OL, Las Vegas Raiders: Resided on the prac- tice squad for all nine of 6-3 Las Vegas' games. • Sean McKeon (2016-19), TE, Dallas Cowboys: Received action in six of 2-7 Dallas' nine contests, but did not notch any stats. • Josh Metellus (2016-19), S, Min- nesota Vikings: Appeared in seven of the 3-5 Vikings' eight games and posted seven tackles. • Bryan Mone (2014-18), DT, Seattle Seahawks: Played in eight of the 6-3 Seahawks' nine contests off the bench, and compiled seven tackles, one tackle for loss, half a sack and a safety … Was put on the injured reserve Nov. 14 with a high-ankle sprain. • Patrick Omameh (2008-12), OL, Las Vegas Raiders: Competed in two games for the 6-3 Raiders after the club signed him as a free agent Sept. 19. • Michael Onwenu (2016-19), OL, New England Patriots: Started all nine games for the 4-5 Patriots, with his starting assignments coming at three different spots on the offensive line — six on the right side as a tackle, two at left guard and one at right guard. • Donovan Peoples-Jones (2017-19), WR, Cleveland Browns: Started one of the six outings he participated in for the 6-3 Browns, and reeled in five catches for 72 yards and a touchdown, with his lone score standing as the game- winner in Cleveland's victory over the Bengals Oct. 25 … Also averaged 5.8 yards on six punt returns and 21.1 yards on 16 kicks brought back. • Jabrill Peppers (2014-16), S, New York Giants: Earned the starting nod in eight of the nine contests he played in (missed one with a low-ankle sprain), and recorded 50 tackles, four tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, six passes defended, one interception and a fumble recovery … Averaged 12.2 yards, ninth best in the NFL, on 10 punt returns. • Jake Rudock (2015), QB, Free Agent: Released from the 6-3 Miami Dolphins' practice squad Oct. 5 and did not compete in a game this year. • Cesar Ruiz (2017-19), OL, New Or- leans Saints: Started five of the eight contests he participated in for the 7-2 Saints, with all of his action coming at right guard. • Jon Runyan (2015-19), OL, Green Bay Packers: Played in all nine games off the bench for 7-2 Green Bay. • Michael Schofield (2009-13), OG, Carolina Panthers: Started two of the five contests he competed in for the 3-7 Panthers, but lost his starting job prior to the team's Sept. 27 contest against the Chargers and took on a backup role from that point on. • Josh Uche (2016-19), LB, New Eng- land Patriots: Missed 4-5 New England's first six games with an ankle injury, but proceeded to play in the ensuing three outings and registered three tackles, one sack and one tackle for loss. • Brandon Watson (2014-18), CB, Jacksonville Jaguars: Saw the field in all nine contests (one start) for 1-8 Jack- sonville and tallied 17 tackles. • Jarrod Wilson (2012-15), S, Jack- sonville Jaguars: Limited to five games (all starts) due to a hamstring injury, and totaled 21 tackles, an interception and one forced fumble. • Chase Winovich (2014-18), DE, New England Patriots: Earned the starting nod in six of the nine games he played in for the 4-5 Patriots, and ac- cumulated 28 tackles, three tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and one forced fumble. • Chris Wormley (2012-16), DL, Pitts- burgh Steelers: Appeared in six con- tests for the 9-0 Steelers and compiled three tackles … Placed on the injured reserve Oct. 31 with a knee ailment. ❑ Michael Onwenu • NFL Pro Football Focus tabbed the New England Patriots offensive lineman as not only the best rookie in the NFL Nov. 3, but also as the sixth highest graded overall player in the entire league. The outlet awarded him with a 91.2 grade at that point in the season (64.0 is considered average), and pegged him as the "steal of the 2020 NFL Draft." New England took him in the sixth round. Donovan Peoples-Jones • NFL The rookie had only caught five passes for 72 yards through six appearances in the Browns' first nine games, but they don't come any bigger than his game-winning 29-yard touchdown grab with 11 seconds left in the 37-34 win over the Bengals Oct. 25. His first three NFL catches came in that game and gained 56 yards. Chad Henne • NFL The Kansas City Chiefs backup quarterback scored a touchdown on a one-yard sneak in his team's 43-16 win at Denver Oct. 25, marking his first touchdown of any kind since 2014 when he was with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Henne also completed each of the two passes he threw against Denver, representing his first completions since 2018.
