C O M and although he has plenty of ad- ditional offers now, we do expect the Nittany Lions to be among his top five or so schools when the time comes. This summer, Bisontis, who stands at 6-5, 290 pounds, took a handful of visits, beginning with Notre Dame June 6. He then went to Rutgers June 12 before visiting Penn State the next day. Ohio State hosted him for a camp June 15, while Alabama got him on campus June 18. Following his trip to Penn State, Bi- sontis informed us that his relationship with offensive line coach Phil Traut- wein is one of the best he's formed with any assistant coach so far. "Coach Trautwein was my first of- fer when he was at Boston College still, so me and him have been building a relationship for a while now," he said. "He's just a cool dude, for sure. I feel I relate with him well." Bisontis is the No. 2-ranked offen- sive guard in the nation and the No. 29 prospect overall, making him the highest-ranked player on this list. Rodney Gallagher | WR Gallagher is a two-sport athlete from Uniontown, Pa., with 15 football offers so far and nine for basketball. At 6-0, 170 pounds, he projects as a guard on the hardwood and a wide receiver on gridiron. The Laurel Highlands prospect has made it clear for months now that he would love to play both sports in col- lege. As of early September, Penn State, Pitt and West Virginia were the three schools that would allow him to do so. Due to his AAU schedule — he plays for Team Durant on the Nike Elite cir- cuit — Gallagher had a limited amount of time to take visits this summer, but he was able to make it to Penn State June 24. "They want me bad, to play both," he said following his visit. "They're very into it. [Basketball] Coach [Micah] Shrewsberry told me they have con- versations every week about it. They're very, very interested and really, really want me to do it." In addition to Penn State, Gallagher visited Pitt and Ohio State this sum- mer. The Buckeyes are likely the team to watch. If they offer in either sport, I expect them to be serious contenders. But for now, Penn State appears to be in a pretty good spot for the No. 98 over- all prospect and No. 15 wide receiver nationally in the junior class. Nyckoles Harbor | TE A Washington, D.C., native, Harbor earned an offer from the Nittany Lions in mid-April. He likely would have re- ceived a scholarship well before that if Archbishop Carroll had a true season last year, but after he started putting up some excellent track times in the spring, schools all across the country rushed to offer. Checking in at 6-5, 220 pounds, Harbor ran an eye-catching 10.38-second 100-meter time March 28. In the two months that followed, he earned 20 offers. He actually ad- vanced all the way to The Outdoor Nationals track and field meet in Eu- gene, Ore., which is a showcase event staged by Nike to highlight the best sprinters in the country. There, he improved on his time, running a 10.31 to finish second overall and set a per- sonal best. His combination of size and speed makes him one of Penn State's most intriguing prospects, and the Nittany Lions were able to get him on campus for the Lasch Bash barbecue at the end of July. That was the second visit he took this summer; Maryland also hosted him in June. "My relationship with [tight ends] Coach Ty [Howle] is a really good one and is getting better every day," Har- bor said after his trip in July. "Coach Franklin said I can come play whatever position I want, they just want me to come play with them." Harbor's sister graduated from Penn State, so there are family ties that should help PSU in the months ahead. A standout wide receiver from Uniontown, Pa., Rodney Gallagher hopes to play both football and basketball at the college level. PHOTO COURTESY RIVALS.COM
