Sure, being a preteen surrounded by a bunch of high school football players in former NFL player Anthony Trucks' Heavy Hitters training program is an accomplishment itself, but he did not jump into the challenge for a par- ticipation medal. He wanted to max it out. And that meant crushing his core until it opened his tear ducts. Training sessions at Trucks' gym in Antioch, Calif., included core work, and not just crunches. Fifteen minutes of blow-your-belly-up exercises designed to test boundaries. Foskey wanted to find his limits and smash them. "Without fail, every week if not every day, he'd get to the point of where he'd be doing it and crying in the corner,'" Trucks said. "Genuinely crying. We're like, 'Isaiah, stop man.' He wouldn't stop. "We'd be trying to physically stop him, and he'd brush us off and keep on going."
