Stauskas made previous stops with the Sacramento Kings, Phila- delphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets, Portland Trail Blazers, Cleveland Cavaliers and — earlier this year — a 10-day stint with the Miami Heat. He also played overseas from 2019-21 before returning to the states and competing in the G League. Jordan Poole • NBA The Golden State Warriors' guard was moved to a bench role once star Klay Thompson returned from his injury, but he was brought into the starting lineup for the first time alongside Thompson and fellow star Steph Curry against the Milwaukee Bucks March 12. He scored 30 points on five made three-pointers, and added six rebounds, five assists and one steal in the win. In a six-game stretch from March 3-12, Poole averaged 24.8 points and shot a red-hot 63.6 percent from long range. Maurice Hurst • NFL The San Francisco 49ers' defensive tackle was signed to a one- year contract extension March 10. He was plagued by injuries last season and appeared in just two games, but is set to be a "key piece" to the team's defensive line in 2022, per 49ers writer Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports. Hurst has racked up 78 tackles, nine stops for loss and eight sacks during his four-year NFL career that has included 42 games with 17 starts.
