Class Of 2024 Scholarship Offer Master List RECRUITING NOTES • Notre Dame 2025 three-star tight end/edge target James Flanigan has five teams in mind. And not many other college football programs could sway the 6-foot-6, 220-pounder away from that core group. Flanigan, a junior at Green Bay (Wis.) Notre Dame de la Baie Academy, reports 10 full-ride Power Five scholarship offers. And others have reached out after college coaches could begin contacting high school juniors on Aug. 1. But after seeing Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Stanford, Michigan and Penn State since April, those are the five schools On3's No. 9 tight end and No. 229 overall player nationally is focused on. He plans to visit Notre Dame, Michigan, Stanford and Wisconsin this football season. Flanigan told Blue & Gold Illustrated that a game-day visit to Penn State would be a logistical challenge. The Irish will host Flanigan for the Southern California game Oct. 14. Flanigan is the son of former Notre Dame defensive lineman Jim Flanigan, who was a standout for the program from 1990-93. • Irish 2024 three-star wide receiver commit Logan Saldate, the No. 81 prospect in California and No. 181 wide receiver in the country per On3, visited Notre Dame for the first time on Sept. 1. Ahead of his visit, the 5-foot-11, 185-pound Saldate told Blue & Gold Illus- trated a few other programs have reached out since he verbally committed to Notre Dame, including Texas A&M. However, Saldate, a senior at Salinas (Calif.) Palma is not returning other teams' phone calls out of respect to the Irish coaching staff. He's solid with his pledge. • On Aug. 30, Irish defensive line coach Al Washington offered a full-ride scholarship to 2025 legacy recruit Austin Alexander. The four-star edge from Union (Ky.) Randall K. Cooper High has visited Notre Dame three times, but it took Washington a few clips into the 6-foot- 3, 214-pound Alexander's junior film to extend the offer formally. Alexander is On3's No. 18 edge and No. 195 overall player in the 2025 re- cruiting cycle. He's the son of Durran Alexander, who graduated from Notre Dame in 1998. The elder Alexander played intramural football. — Kyle Kelly Three-star 2025 tight end James Flanigan, the No. 9 tight end and No. 229 overall player in country according to On3, is a Notre Dame legacy. His father, Jim, was a defensive lineman for the Irish from 1990-93. PHOTO BY KYLE KELLY Follow @ByKyleKelly on X for daily recruiting updates on BlueandGold.com!
