(both no longer considering Notre Dame). Class Of 2024 Scholarship Offer Master List RECRUITING NOTES • Blue & Gold Illustrated visited with 2025 wide receiver Talyn Taylor at Geneva (Ill.) Community School ahead of the third game of his high school football season Sept 1. Taylor is On3's No. 12 wide receiver and No. 63 overall player in the 2025 class. Since Aug. 1, the day college coaches could begin permissibly contacting 2025 football recruits, Georgia, Notre Dame, Illinois, UCLA and Southern California have been the schools in touch with him the most. Schools like Alabama, Kansas and Kansas State have also contacted him to a much lesser extent. Taylor will visit Georgia Sept. 16, when they host South Carolina. He'll head to Notre Dame for the Ohio State game Sept. 23. He's been to each school twice. Wisconsin (five), Iowa (three), Michigan State (three), Illinois (two) and Michigan (one) have also hosted him on previous visits. • Joseph Reiff, a 2025 defensive lineman from Elmhurst (Ill.) York Com- munity School, will make his Midwestern rounds over the next three months. And Notre Dame is a definite stop for him. The 6-5, 230-pound Reiff has reeled in six Power Five scholarship offers since May 16. He's visited each one of those schools — Iowa, Louisville, Northwestern, Notre Dame and Purdue — except for Cincinnati, which of- fered during the August recruiting dead period. On3 has not yet rated Reiff. Fighting Irish defensive line coach Al Washington offered Reiff after his performance in Notre Dame's Evaluation Camp II June 20. Reiff will return to South Bend for a game-day visit when the Irish host Ohio State Sept. 23. He was at Purdue for its home opener against Fresno State Sept. 2. He'll also went to Michigan in search of an offer during its matchup with UNLV Sept. 9. Reiff said he'll also visit Wisconsin and Iowa but did not specify a date. The Badgers have yet to offer him. In June 2022, he camped at Michigan and Wisconsin. With his college recruitment taking an entirely new look more than a year later, those schools will certainly get an extra set of eyes on him. • Since Aug. 1, Notre Dame, Southern California and Wisconsin are the three schools to reach out daily to 2025 four-star offensive tackle Owen Strebig. The 6-7, 295-pounder attends Waukesha (Wis.) Catholic Memorial. And his junior football season is his focus. However, Strebig — On3's No. 1 prospect in Wisconsin, and the No. 5 of- fensive tackle and No. 40 overall player nationally in his class — will check out two games this fall. He'll be at Notre Dame for the Ohio State game Sept. 23 and Southern California for the UCLA game Nov. 18. Strebig watched the Badgers take on Buffalo Sept. 2. When he makes it back to Notre Dame for the Ohio State game, it will be Strebig's fourth visit to campus. Only Wisconsin has hosted him an equal number of times. — Kyle Kelly Gene va (Ill.) Community School 2025 wide receiver Talyn Taylor is rated as a four-star talent, the No. 1 prospect in Illinois, and the No. 12 wide receiver and No. 63 overall player nationally by On3.
