avis Sherwood has learned a lot from his
brothers. No surprise. That's natural for the
youngest of six boys and two girls. Sherwood
has five biological siblings and two adopted
ones. They've all impacted the Notre Dame junior
tight end in their own ways.

Junior tight end Davis Sherwood
has come a long way
from walking on as
a linebacker in 2021
Sherwood arrived at Notre Dame as a walk-
on linebacker in 2021. He scored his first
career touchdown as a scholarship tight end
in Week 2 of 2023.
