Class Of 2024 Scholarship Offer Master List RECRUITING NOTES • Ahead of Indianapolis Ben Davis High's marquee matchup with Braden- ton (Fla.) IMG Academy Sept. 8, Blue & Gold Illustrated visited with Notre Dame four-star cornerback target Mark Zackery. The 6-foot, 155-pounder is On3's No. 17 cornerback and No. 202 overall player in 2025. He's also a priority Fighting Irish target. And they have treated him as such. Zackery reports 21 Power Five scholarship offers. Since college coaches from those schools were allowed to begin contacting him on Aug. 1, no school has reached out more often than Notre Dame. He has frequent Face- Time calls with the Irish coaching staff. Notre Dame's message is simple: It is determined to keep the No. 1 Indiana prospect in the state. In the summer, Zackery visited Georgia June 22. He'll also head to Tennes- see when it hosts Texas A&M Oct. 14 for one of his six game-day visits. Flor- ida, Florida State and LSU — three schools yet to offer — also intrigue him. But make no mistake, Zackery's recruitment shapes up to be a heavy-hitting midwestern battle. This fall, he'll visit Cincinnati (Sept. 16 vs. Miami [Ohio]), Notre Dame (Sept. 23 vs. Ohio State), Purdue (Sept. 30 vs. Illinois) and Michi- gan (Nov. 4 vs. Purdue). He may also visit Ohio State (Oct. 7 vs. Maryland). • Notre Dame is taking a big swing at Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four- star linebacker Gavin Nix. And the Fighting Irish could get another hit after making contact with the 2025 thumper since Aug. 1. At least that's what Blue & Gold Illustrated gathered after watching Nix and the IMG Academy Ascenders defeat Indianapolis Ben Davis High, 34-14 Sept. 8. Defensive coordinator Al Golden and director of high school scouting Dre Brown have extended Notre Dame's effort for Nix, On3's No. 55 player in Florida and No. 37 linebacker in the country in the 2025 recruiting cycle. But the Irish's pursuit of Nix goes back to April 15, when they hosted the 6-foot, 226-pounder on an unofficial college recruiting visit. He left with a full-ride scholarship offer from Notre Dame that day. Nix is originally from Kissimmee, Fla., which made his spring Notre Dame visit even more notable. Florida's top recruits rarely travel to South Bend without a previous scholarship offer. However, Nix saw an avenue in his recruitment that he wanted to investigate. If his schedule allows, Nix could wind back up in South Bend for Notre Dame's marquee matchup against Ohio State Sept. 23. — Kyle Kelly Indianapolis Ben Davis High cornerback Mark Zackery — On3's No. 1 prospect in Indiana, and No. 17 cornerback and No. 202 overall player in the 2025 class — reports 21 Power Five offers but no team has con- tacted him more than Notre Dame.
