C O M Hunter Aquino — Men's Lacrosse Aquino was named a second-team All-American by Inside Lacrosse, adding to the list of awards he gar- nered in his debut season with the Nittany Lions. The midfielder from Easton, Pa., had previously been named Big Ten Freshman of the Year, a presumably easy choice by the league after he had won Freshman of the Week honors six times. Following Penn State's matchup against Notre Dame in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals on May 18, Aquino had amassed 16 goals and 21 assists. His 37 points ranked second on the team and were ninth in the Big Ten. Aquino's six Big Ten weekly honors were the most by any Penn State freshman in program history. Erika Ho — Women's Lacrosse Ho enjoyed a breakthrough season as a junior. The at- tacker from Frankford, Ill., led Penn State in goals (46), points (56), free-position goals (14) and game-winning goals (3), and she was third in ground balls (46). In ad- dition, she finished ninth in the Big Ten with an average of 2.9 goals per game. Ho also won 112 draw controls, becoming only the third player in program history to surpass 100 in a single season. Her average of 7.0 draw controls per game ranked fourth in the Big Ten and 23rd nationally. For her ef- forts, Ho was named an honorable mention All-American by USA Lacrosse, as were senior teammates Ellie Hollin and Lauren Saltz. Brooke Klosowicz — So ball The sophomore designated hitter from Johnsburg, Ill., was one of four Penn State players to earn second-team All-Big Ten honors following the 2025 regular season. Klosowicz posted a .422 batting average for the season, the fourth-best mark in program history. She also set single-season Penn State records for most doubles (23) and RBI (53), and she scored 50 runs, the third-highest to- tal ever by a Nittany Lion softball player. Joining Klosowicz on the second-team all-conference squad were fifth-year senior first baseman Meagan Ricks, senior third baseman Maddie Gordon and senior right fielder Haylie Brunson. As a team, Penn State set program records with its .329 batting average, 74 home runs, 306 RBI and 341 runs scored. Ryan Merk — Men's Volleyball Merk earned honorable mention AVCA All-America honors after helping Penn State win the EIVA Tourna- ment. The redshirt junior libero averaged 1.94 digs per set and helped hold opponents to .268 hitting in Penn State's 31 matches this season. A Chicago native, Merk led all players with 9 digs in the Lions' sweep of Daemen in an opening-round NCAA Tournament match May 2. An honorable mention All-American as a freshman and a second-team honoree last year, Merk became PSU's first three-time All- America libero since Dennis Del Valle earned four nods from 2008-11. — Matt Herb PENN STATE'S TOP PERFORMERS BWI LIVE!
