TRACKING THE PACK
16 ■ THE WOLFPACKER
The NC State men's basketball team will be spending Thanks-
giving break in Hawai'i when it takes part in the Maui Invitational
for the first time in program history. The Wolfpack, which was
saluted during the Pack's football opener Aug. 28 against East
Carolina, will take on Seton Hall Nov. 24 in the first of its three
games at the Lahaina Civic Center under first-year head coach
Will Wade. The Pack will play either Boise State or USC the fol-
lowing day, and the third game will be against an opponent to
be determined. The tournament, which is in its 42nd year, will
also feature Washington State, Arizona State, Texas and host
Chaminade.
NC State hasn't faced Seton Hall since falling to the Pirates, 94-
83, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in March 2018. That
was a disappointing result, but with a new coaching era underway
in Raleigh, the focus is entirely on the program's present and fu-
ture. The Pack will be looking to see how far it can ride the wave of
momentum it has built since bringing Wade aboard in March.
