His father worked in minor-league hockey, and the Mousers moved around fre- quently when Taylor was growing up, putting down roots in one small town, only to pull them up again before too long. Mouser made a major professional move of his own in December when he followed head coach Matt Campbell from Iowa State to Penn State. He's get- ting set for his first season as the Nit- tany Lions' offensive coordinator after serving in that capacity with the Cy- clones the past two years. The off-the-field transition has gone great. Mouser rides his bike to work nearly every day and has enjoyed meet- ing people throughout the Penn State community. "I love living here," he said. Mouser has also been pleased with the on-field progress he's seen. It no doubt helps that he's been accompanied by quite a few of his closest associates from Ames. Quarterbacks coach Jake Waters and offensive line coach Ryan Clanton have also relocated to PSU, as have 13 offensive transfers, a group headlined by redshirt senior quarter- back Rocco Becht. Mouser recently spoke to BWI about the Nittany Lions' offense going into Year 1 of the Campbell coaching era. BWI Matt Campbell has talked about the importance of summer workouts. How do you approach this part of the calendar, and what do you want to get done before the start of preseason camp?
