Regardless of how it concludes, Rosa is thankful for the opportunity to keep playing a game he thought he had left behind. "It took two years from when I initially was injured to when I was healthy again, and I think that built me into who I am today. It made me much more grateful for all the little things," he said. "I think I've seen a lot of different angles of col- lege football. "I've really gone through all the tri- als and tribulations, and I'm trying to step into more of a leadership role, being a senior and being as experienced as I am. I'm really happy to be here." ■ Rosa made his Penn State debut in the Blue-White Practice in April. He's competing to be the Lions' kickoff specialist this fall.
