football recruiting Louisiana and is a diehard Notre Dame fan, but that's the case with Tillery. He committed to the Irish in June and called it an "easy decision." He will be in Dallas in October for the Notre Dame-Arizona State game and is hoping to be in South Bend when the Irish take on USC. Matthew Burrell OT • 6-5, 290 pounds Woodbridge, Va. (C.D. Hylton) 247Sports Rankings: Four stars, No. 30 offensive tackle in the country and No. 13 player in Virginia. The Skinny: Notre Dame is in Burrell's top five, along with Florida, Ohio State, Alabama and South Carolina. Florida hasn't offered yet, and that could be a situation where he would commit immediately following an offer. He's adamant about playing ball in the south, which hurts Notre Dame's chances. Reno Rosene OT • 6-7, 310 pounds Thousand Oaks, Calif. (Oaks Christian) 247Sports Rankings: Four stars, No. 170 prospect in the nation, No. 14 offensive tackle in the land and No. 20 player in California. The Skinny: Rosene has made two trips to South Bend since Notre Dame offered May 17, 2012, visiting June 24, 2012 and Oct. 13, 2012. If he's open to leaving California and the Irish coaching staff continues to pursue, look for Notre Dame to be his landing spot. Tim Settle DT • 6-3, 305 pounds Manassas, Va. (Stonewall Jackson) 247Sports Rankings: Five stars, No. 9 prospect in the nation, No. 3 defensive tackle in the country and No. 1 recruit in Virginia. The Skinny: Notre Dame offered June 14, but that will likely be the closest they get to the five-star prospect. Settle has Alabama, Ohio State, Virginia and North Carolina as his leaders. T.D. Moton DT • 6-4, 310 pounds Shreveport, La. (Calvary Baptist Academy) 247Sports Rankings: Four stars, No. 22 defensive tackle in the country and No. 17 player in Louisiana. The Skinny: The Notre Dame staff, led by cornerbacks coach Kerry Cooks, has put themselves in good shape with Moton. Look for the Louisiana native to select from the Irish and LSU when he makes a final decision. Jeffery Holland OLB • 6-2, 230 pounds Jacksonville, Fla. (Trinity Christian Academy) 247Sports Rankings: Four stars, No. 18 prospect in the country, No. 1 outside linebacker in the land and No. 4 recruit in Florida. The Skinny: Although there are no locks in recruiting, Holland is a heavy lean to Florida. Notre Dame would love to get him on campus, but luring him out of the Sunshine State will be an extremely difficult task. 247Sports rates Saint Paul (Minn.) Cretin-Derham Hall standout Jashon Cornell as a four-star recruit, the No. 1 player in Minnesota, the No. 2 outside linebacker in the country and the No. 19 overall prospect in the class of 2015. photo courtesy 247sports
