a 3-0 start, ties a Notre Dame record by completing 10 straight throws during a 42-14 victory in a home
Tony Rice became the third quarterback in school history to eclipse 100 passing yards and 100 rushing yards in the same game, throwing for 129 and running for 107 while accounting for three touchdowns in a 42‑14 win over Stanford in 1988.
