basketball recruiting developing and trending upward. "He's got a lot of potential and if he pushes himself and gets pushed, he has the opportunity to get on the court and play. He's got all the tools for sure." Robinson's greatest improvement has come on the defensive side of the ball with an increased intensity and effort, Thompson said. "The biggest thing that I've seen in the last few months is his willingness to get after it on the defensive side as well," Thompson said. "I think that's something that he needed to do in order to ensure that he could take it to the next level and compete and be successful." Robinson, who is interested in business but has not decided on an intended major, spent a good part of his Notre Dame visit discussing his academic options. "He met with a lot of the academic support staff," Thompson said. "He met with Coach Brey personally and spent a lot of time with [assistant] Coach [Anthony] Solomon. He spent some time with the guys, the players, and was able to take in the game against Michigan State. He was able to see the campus. He was able to meet [former Notre Dame women's basketball player] Skylar Diggins, which he was pretty excited about. "He got to play with the guys a little bit before the game Saturday, some pickup ball, and he got to watch practice. He got to tour the basketball facilities. St. Andrews School, who is ranked as a three-star prospect, the top player in Rhode Island, the No. 26 small forward in the country and the No. 113 overall player by 247Sports, were scheduled to be in for the Oklahoma game. Minneapolis De La Salle star Reid Travis, who is rated as a four-star player, the No. 3 prospect in Minnesota, the No. 7 power forward in the land and the No. 45 overall recruit in the nation by 247Sports, was scheduled to come that weekend as well, but postponed his trip a few days beforehand and is hoping to visit the Notre Dame campus in October. The 6-7, 228-pounder visited Duke the weekend of Sept. 21 and is viewed by many as a likely eventual Blue Devils commitment. Matt Ryan Takes In Campus On Unofficial Visit Cortlandt Manor (N.Y.)
