years. I've been preparing my football teams now for 23 years, so there won't be any changes relative to how we prepare. "It's execution. It's playing in the game and coaching the game. Everybody, the players and coaches, we didn't do a very good job today." Notre Dame senior quarterback Tommy Rees … On the message to the team moving forward: "Stay together. You've still got two games left, you've got to rely on one another and unify as a team, and find a way to have a great week or two of practice and get better." On his legacy at Notre Dame as his career winds down: "I don't think about anything like that. My full focus is on the guys in that locker room and playing for them. "For me it's all about my brothers and the guy we grind it out with." Notre Dame fifth-year senior linebacker Dan Fox … On what is left to play for: "To have the ability to go out there and play for Notre Dame is unforgettable, and I'm sure a lot of guys feel the same way as me. We don't really think of it as, 'Oh, we can't play in the BCS and all is lost.' We're going to battle." On losing momentum in the fourth quarter: "I never felt anything like that on defense. We never felt like there was lost hope or anything like that." Notre Dame senior wide receiver TJ Jones … On the offense taking responsibility for mistakes: "We'll definitely put it on us. There were mistakes made on both sides of the ball, but we definitely feel as an offense, regardless of how the game went, we're always going to put it on ourselves if we make mistakes." On the post-game locker room mood: "It was frustrating. I was mad. No one is happy. You know that you made mistakes that cost us the game, and we should be 8-2 right now." Pittsburgh head coach Paul Chryst … On his defense: "We had the two big picks by Ray Vinopal and obviously key stops. We were able to do the job stopping them on third downs." On fifth-year quarterback Tom Savage: "I don't think we learned anything new about him. It's who he is. It's how he's been. He wasn't perfect. I thought he made some big throws. "He competed and that rubs off on the rest of the team." On the win in general: "That was a good win. I appreciate what the players and coaches did. We were able to do enough things tonight to win. "It was a great atmosphere and it was fun. I know it fueled our kids."
