Film Analysis Strengths Williams is relentless when pursuing the football, and his effort helped take his game to a new level during his senior season … His height and long arms aid in batting down passes … Once he signs with the Irish, he will immediately be one of the most athletic players on the Notre Dame roster … His speed is very impressive … He clocked a 4.57 in the 40-yard dash during a summer camp at Michigan State. Areas To Improve One area of concern is his sudden dominance as a senior after struggling mightily as a junior … His junior tape showed a player that could get overpowered by lesser competition, but his senior film reveals a player that dominates every week … He will need to add some moves to his overall pass rushing attack … Simply using his speed to beat tackles off the edge won't come as easy at the next level. — Tom Loy ago, Williams thought his recruitment was done. He expected to sign with Missouri, and he was content on leaving home for a few years to get an education and play college football. He'd developed a close relationship with the staff, and he never envisioned going elsewhere for school. "Decommitting from Missouri was tough," Williams said. "I loved it there, and the coaches and players all treated me like family. I'm really appreciative of them and how they showed me love during my recruitment. "I just need to make the best decision for me and my family, and I can't pass up an opportunity to play this close to home. It's just too important to us. I can't thank that staff enough for how they treated me, and I wish them the best." Notre Dame offensive coordinator
