Recognizing the " Who's Hoo" in UVa athletics — Cavalier student-athletes, past, present and future who are making news around the world of sports. Courtney Bartholomew ◆ Swimming The second-year from Holland, Mich., qualified for two 'A' finals at the NCAA Championships and placed third in the 200-yard back- stroke, while she also earned All- America laurels with a fifth-place finish in the 100-yard backstroke. Rookie teammate Leah Smith also earned a bronze medal in the 1,650-yard freestyle to give the program their top individual performances since Lauren Perdue placed second in the 200-yard freestyle in 2011. Bartholomew and Smith helped the Cavaliers collect their seventh straight top- 20 showing, with an 11th-place finish in the final standings. Greg Coholan ◆ Lacrosse The midfielder from Rochester, N.Y., netted an unassisted goal with 1:09 left in overtime to give the then-No. 10 Cavaliers an 11-10 victory over No. 9 Johns Hopkins March 22. The win marked the program's 600th — UVa is just the eighth Division I program to reach that plateau — and also gave the Wahoos the Doyle Smith Cup, the trophy awarded annually to the winner of the regular-season matchup between the two schools, for the first time since 2010. Coholan, a second-year, tallied three goals in the contest, and had recorded nine markers with nine assists through the season's first 11 games. Joe Harris ◆ Basketball The All-ACC second-teamer was a huge part of the Cavaliers sweep- ing the ACC regular-season and tournament crowns. In the ACC Tournament, Harris was named MVP after he led the Cavaliers with 47 points in three games (15.7 points per contest). The fourth-year guard ranked second on the team with 12.0 points per game and helped Virginia to its first Sweet 16 appearance since 1995. Faith Randolph ◆ Basketball The second-year was named the ACC Sixth Player of the Year by the league's head coaches. She started just four times this year, but aver- aged 23.4 minutes per game and led all non-starters in the confer- ence with 12.4 points per game. The native of Derwood, Md., ranked second on the Cavaliers in scoring and upped her output to 13.7 points per contest in ACC play. Nick Sulzer ◆ Wrestling T h e ACC c h a m p i o n a t 1 6 5 pounds entered the NCAA Tour- nament seeded third and did not disappoint.
