FOOTBALL RECRUITING
Wayne (Ind.) Wayne four-star defen-
sive end Auston Robertson are all
expected, but the Irish could add its
first commitment from another high-
profile prospect in attendance.
Cincinnati Elder junior four-star of-
fensive tackle Tommy Kraemer was on
campus for the Notre Dame-Michigan
game in September and will return
when the Irish host Stanford. The 6-3,
305-pounder, who has Notre Dame as
his leader, holds offers from the Irish,
Duke, Michigan, Ohio State, Vander-
bilt and others.
Following his trip to campus for
the 31-0 defeat of Michigan, Kraemer
hinted that a decision could come
soon.
"Committing definitely crossed
my mind," Kraemer said. "I thought
about it. Just being around the team
and the players and even the recruits,
it just seemed like this is the place to
be. Notre Dame is on top for me, that's
for sure."
Regarding the visit, Kraemer made
one thing clear — Notre Dame is a
place that he could see himself attend-
ing in the future.
"I could see myself playing there
very easily," Kraemer told 247Sports
national director of recruiting Steve
Wiltfong. "I have a very strong rela-
tionship with [offensive line coach]
Harry Hiestand."
Per 247Sports, Kraemer is the No. 36
overall recruit nationally, the No. 8 of-
fensive tackle in the land and the No. 2
prospect in Ohio in the class of 2016.
