FOOTBALL RECRUITING but his offer list goes well beyond that and includes Miami, LSU, Texas A&M, UCLA and many others. The 6-5, 205-pound recruit first vis- ited South Bend this summer during a Midwest tour that included stops at Northwestern and Illinois. The Irish visit was the best of the bunch. "It was everything I thought it would be and more," St. Brown said following his June 10 visit to Notre Dame. "It was a beautiful campus full of tradition. It was just incredible. I met a lot of great people, both coaches and players. I really liked it a lot. It was by far my favorite stop of the tour. "I could see myself here. I didn't think about ending my recruitment, but it was great. I just need to take my time. The trip helped Notre Dame a lot with me and gave me a great look at the school." A c a d e m i c s a re i m p o r t a n t t o St. Brown and his family. That's a big reason that Notre Dame, Stanford and USC are in the mix for his services. During the trip to South Bend, he sat down with Notre Dame's academic counselor Adam Sargent, who left a great impression on the California na- tive. "He is a pro," St. Brown said regard- ing Sargent. "He really knows what he's talking about. He made every- thing very clear and easy for us. He was really impressive with everything he discussed. "I'm thinking about majoring in en- gineering, but I may change my mind. I'm not sure quite yet. All I know is that Notre Dame has a great program." D u r i n g h i s j u n i o r c a m p a i g n , St. Brown caught 42 passes for 725 yards and six touchdowns. Per 247Sports, St. Brown is the No. 213 overall player in the nation, the No. 23 wide receiver in the country and the No. 29 prospect in California from the 2015 class.
