technique) in new defensive coordina-
tor Brian VanGorder 's multi-dimen-
sional packages. On a defensive front
that has been ravaged by graduation
and attrition, Rochell has had to be
part nose guard Louis Nix III, part
tackle Stephon Tuitt, and part edge
rushers Prince Shembo and Ishaq Wil-
liams. Rochell even lined up at line-
backer against Stanford for a couple
Rochell played all along the defensive line in the first six games, recording 15 tackles (3.5 for loss) and
tying for the team lead in quarterback hurries (eight).
