"It's a huge honor for me," Hoge said. "I've waited for this moment since I was in the seventh grade. This is a huge moment for me, and I'm savoring every single moment of this. I can't wait until January to play in the game. I'm truly honored to have this privilege. It's means so much." The 6-5, 292-pounder is one of 90 players set to play in the 15th annual game Jan. 3 in San Antonio. NBC will have the national broadcast from inside the Alamo Dome. "My parents couldn't be more proud," the class of 2015 recruit said. "They are just as excited as I am. They couldn't ask for anything else. They're just proud parents. They can't wait to be there in San Antonio for the game as well." Hoge is a longtime Notre Dame commit and another standout headed to South Bend to play for offensive line coach Harry Hiestand. "Coach Hiestand has always been so supportive, and he congratulated me for this great honor," Hoge said. "I'm not the first Army All-American he has had, and I surely won't be the last. "He loves having all of these All-Americans on his roster, and I'm just another one in a long list of many for him. He's been great about the whole thing, and I just can't wait to play for him." Per 247Sports, Hoge is the No. 106 overall recruit in the land, the No. 1 center in the country and the No. 1 player in Idaho in the class of 2015. • Notre Dame's 2015 class is sitting at 20 commits after it picked up Indianapolis Ben Davis four-star linebacker and U.S. Army All-American Asmar Bilal Oct. 9. "Our 2015 class is the framework for success," Hoge said. "Our group of Shamrock Soldiers is a really special class. It's filled with the best of the best across the country. I don't think any class can touch the group of guys that's headed to Notre Dame. We have the chance to be incredible when we get up to South Bend, and we can get there with hard work." Both 247Sports.com and Rivals.com rank the class No. 9 nationally as of Oct. 16. — Tom Loy Follow @TomLoy247 on Twitter for daily recruiting updates available on BlueandGold.com. TRISTEN HOGE
