40-YEAR MILESTONE CELEBRATION

FOUNDRY GOLF TOURNAMENT
The 2014 Virginia Athletics Foun-
dation Foundry Golf Tournament
was held at the Foundry Golf Club
in Richmond on October 13. The an-
nual fundraiser was coordinated by
Coley Wortham, Bob Mizell and the
VAF staff to benefit the University of
Virginia men's and women's golf pro-
grams. This year's tournament raised
over $16,000 for both programs.
The winning team was Bob Mizell's
foursome, which included his son
Danny Mizell, Randy Milligan and
Bruce Woodall. Fourth-year golfer
Denny McCarthy from Rockville, Md.
joined their team. The second place
team was Lindsay Wortham's four-
some that included Kit Bredrup, Meg
Gilmer and Joanne Kitusky. Joining
their team was second-year golfer
Derek Bard from New Hartford, N.Y.
