VAF MEMBERS OF THE GAME Donors selected as Members of the Game are individuals with a history of loyal support, first-time donors and donors who contribute to the annual campaign, capital projects, Friends Of and the VAF endowment. Members are recognized on the field during the game including a special appearance on Hoo Vision. Member of the Game for Kent State was Ryan Frazier of Richmond, Va. As an alumnus of the University, Ryan Fra- zier has fond memories of watching foot- ball games from the Hill. He chooses to support the VAF because, "the scholarships provided by the VAF help bring young men and women to the University of Virginia, giving them the opportunity to succeed in the classroom and win championships on the fields and courts of play". Member of the Game for Pittsburgh was Bruce and Peggy Baumgartner of Nellysford, Va. Bruce and Peggy Baumgartner are active members of the University community and have been VAF members for 37 years. "We love the University and all it stands for. We have met and interacted with five or six coaches, playing tennis with them years ago, and some of the players. They were all such classy people that we could not help but want to support them and all the teams. We have season tickets for football, basketball and base- ball, but attend many other UVa sports events as well." Member of the Game for University of North Carolina was The Wilding Family of Williamsburg, Va. Adam and Jomie Wilding began their story at the University. "We met at the University, got married in the Chapel, and have both long enjoyed Virginia sports. Being able to share that love with our children is some- thing we value immensely." Thinking of their favorite UVa moments, the Wildings, "loved watching the incredible teamwork displayed by last year's men's basketball team and the class and integrity that Dom Starsia displayed during the 2011 season culminating in the National Championship really made us proud to be Wahoos."
