ormer Michigan and second-year
Utah Jazz point guard Trey Burke
isn't off to the best start this season,
averaging only 9.9 points and 5.4 as-
sists per game while shooting 32.0 per-
cent from the floor and 24.1 percent
from long range in his first 11 games.
He missed a triple at the buzzer that
would have sent a 100-97 loss at Atlanta
Nov. 12 to overtime and seemed to be
missing the gear that helped separate
him from so many his size the last few
years.
He finally returned to form Nov. 14.
With 2.3 seconds remaining in a
100-100 game at Madison Square Gar-
den against the New York Knicks,
Burke trumped the Knicks' Carmelo
Anthony with a step-back, corner
jumper at the buzzer to give Utah a
102-100 win and snap the Jazz' two-
