68 ■ THE WOLFPACKER ■ BASKETBALL RECRUITING Ingram might have elected to not use an official visit on NC State, but he has been to the school in an unofficial capac- ity more than 15 times the last three years, including twice this fall. Ingram attended the Florida State at NC State football game Sept. 27 and returned for the home basket- ball opener against Jackson State Nov. 14. NC State fans chanted Ingram's name at PNC Arena and he had a good time, but then had two other basketball games to at- tend that particular weekend. Ingram followed up by going to see Fair- field at Duke Nov. 15 and Robert Morris at North Carolina Nov. 16. The three un- official visits to see the in-state colleges couldn't sway him to sign during the fall signing period. Ingram and Kinston High will be one of the headliners of this year's HighSchoo- lOT.com Holiday Invitational Dec. 26-27, and 29-30 at Raleigh Broughton High. Notes • NC State has also continued to reach out to Or- lando (Fla.) Oak Ridge senior shooting guard Antonio Blakeney, who Rivals.com ranks No. 13 overall in the country in the class of 2015. The Sarasota, Fla., native originally committed to Lou- isville Sept. 4, and the Wolfpack weren't a factor at the time. The 6-3, 180-pounder opened his recruitment back up nearly two weeks later Sept. 15, and NC State jumped into the chase. Blakeney officially visited Louisville during his first wave of recruiting, and then went to Kentucky, LSU and Missouri. He pondered making a college decision during the November signing period, but also elected to wait until the spring, which has given the NC State coaches more time.
