CAVALIER CORNER: Your father, John, played
lacrosse for Johns Hopkins and is the head coach of
MLL's Boston Cannons. Your mother, Janine, is the
head women's lacrosse coach at Johns Hopkins. In
what way did they help you become a player on a
team that annually is one of the nation's best?
TUCKER: "My parents have been absolutely awe-
some and supportive. They've never pushed me in
one direction or another. In terms of deciding
what school to go to, some parents say you
should go here or there. They left it up to
me. Some people thought I would go to
Hopkins.
"My dad coached our Little
League team. He would be there
all the time and never would
get on me. He gave me sim-
ple things to work on af-
ter a game. He would be
super positive. The first
thing he would say to
me was you played
great. My mom is
one of the most
positive people
you would ever
