Virginia women's lacrosse head coach Julie Myers didn't have to think long when she named fourth-year defender Kelsey Gahan and fourth-year attack Court- ney Swan co-captains for the 2015 season. Despite having to deal with a series of injuries that sidetracked her second-year season, Gahan bounced back and started 20 games in 2014. I was able to come back for the NCAA Tour- nament and play and we made it to the quarterfinals. And, of course, being in the Final Four last year was incredible. The most important thing I've learned from la- crosse: Communication. I feel that's helped me GETTING TO KNOW FOURTH-YEAR LACROSSE DEFENDER KELSEY GAHAN CAVALIER SPORTS WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE … … TV show? "Scandal" … movie? "Wedding Crashers" … actor and actress?
